Team Identiti Wrap Up Season In Style

Series Podiums In Three Categories

Renthal equipped Team Identiti have been gaining solid, top results all season. As the National 4X series came to its finale, it was time to reap the rewards for their efforts.

In Junior’s, team rider Tom Knight has had an amazing season which is reflected by his No1 national ranking. In the final luck wasn’t with him, and an injury during practice put paid to his racing. Knight already had the series won, before the final round, as it was a mathematical impossibility for him to be beaten. Showing maturity, he decided to rest the injury to prevent further damage. He climbed onto the top step of the podium to become the well deserved 2010 Junior 4X National Champion.

In the youth category, Matt Jones has put in a great season, but injury prior to the event also ruled him out of the final round. Whilst watching from the sidelines, luck was with him and the points fell in his favour. He just managed to stay in front of his nearest challenger by two points to claim second place in the series overall.

Pat Campbell Jenner had it all to win or lose in the final as it was mathematically possible to move up from his third spot to second, but if he crashed out, he could lose his podium spot. As it turned out, Campbell Jenner didn’t have exactly the race he wanted, but grabbed second place in the small final and enough points for a very respectable third place in the series overall.
