Wolfe is National Champion

Convincing Winning Margin for Dan Wolfe

The Irish National Championship has been won by Renthal supported rider Dan Wolfe, of the Wolfe Racing Team.
Held on the tight, technical and short 2km track of Kilbroney Forest, Rostrevor, a perfect run was the only thing that was going to take home the gold medal.
Adding to the tension was the presence of former World Junior Champion, Ruaridh Cunningham of the Chain Reaction/Intense team. Wolfe took second place in his seeding run with Cunningham snapping at his heels, just half a second back. Wolfe lit the afterburners for his final run and stormed the hill with a flat-out and pin point accurate run, to officially become the country’s fastest rider. It certainly raised a few eyebrows that he crossed the line over two seconds quicker than any other rider on the day. A seriously impressive feat on such a short course.
